Warden Ualraig now sells a guaranteed glowsphere

Description
I have no clue why the developers removed this, but the local good warden of Joppa now sells a single glowsphere every new game you make. Enjoy!

hey, thanks to your 6-line code I figured out how to add pancakes for the merchant, you can be proud of yourself that you could help me do the quest to bring pancakes to Niko!

@fulf try Clairvoyance next time you run a mutated human. ;)

I thought it was weird that he didn't sell them anymore. I didn't know the devs were responsible.

Any chance it'll be a floating glowsphere dependent on run?

bless
honestly the game should just get rid of torches and give everyone a glowsphere to start with, it doesn't add anything to the game to have to use a torch
or do away with darkness altogether and fix LOS cuz it's stupid and bad but that's another discussion

.... i mean this is a rouge like?
it's fine to remove 1 of the MANY advantages of what is basically the tutorial.
this game is kinda all about your characters story and weird or hard starts can make hell of a story.

whats the more interesting story, bob the 12 who does the same thing with different stats as bob 1-11 in the same places or bob the sand raider who hunts the sands for artifacts so he might acquire the water to venture across the dessert to find what awaits him.

A LOT of what can make a game like this fun is they story of your character, and the devs lean into that HARD. they try to balance it but pretty much anyone with even a middling understanding of the game can break and smash game balance with infinite stat increases and money and shops. dominate strategy is a thing and the devs WANT you to have a story not a rampage so they do what they do.

Great mod love QOL like this

Joppa remains unquestionably the best place to start the game - you can learn harvesting, get a few secrets and travel between layers due to whirlpool. Chests still hold goods you can liberate to make start easier. Also it has that handcrafted quality, which those randomized villages do not have. Easy access to glowsphere made night vision mutation (which sux) and night vision implant irrelevant.

Thanks for the mod. I understand why they removed it so people didn't feel the need to start every game in Joppa but I enjoyed it being there.
