Imperial Civilian Ships Worldfile

Description

As more and more DLC come out and less and less people choose to purchase all of them I have decided to change the MO of my publishing: I will put blueprint creations into several larger world files so everyone can load everything without having to have all the DLC even If I work with them. You are then free to roam, destroy them and rework them to your liking.
Since world files are a bit tedious in comparison to blueprints, I have bundled many of them in different themed files and am in the process of reworking my collection.

This is my civilian fleet file, not yet completely finished but pretty up to date, with 33 different ships. They are not specifically innovative, beautiful or clever – but they add flavour to my worlds 😊

This world is MOD FREE!
Expect long loading times!
Two stripes in the same colour mean that the vessel currently is employed by the Crown.
The other colours usually indicate the House affiliation of the vessel.
This information probably is completely irrelevant to you!

Prospector ships (system-based asteroid probing)

Adventure Class (old class, no FTL) – drones
Fountain Class (pretty new class, FTL and Hydro thrusters) - drones

Armed Civilian ships (at least some form of offensive combat capability)

Cornerstone Class private escort – very common light escort vessel, no FTL
Bullet Class heavy private escort – obsolete ship, sometimes still employed by small Houses, no FTL
Plough Class heavy escort – semi-efficient ship employed exclusively by House Ieram. More for scaring off enemies than actually fighting
Boar Class armed transport – often used, reliable personnel transport with decent weaponry

Planetary drop ships (exclusively designed for getting to and off the surface of planets)

Jumper Class drop ship – most commonly used drop ship in the Empire
Mule Class cargo drop ship – no personnel transport capabilities

Yachts (various forms and sizes for getting important people from point A to B)

Erinaceus Class Yacht – the Akhinnae version of a starter ship!
Adventure Class Yacht – old but comfortable personnel transport
Alaya Class Yacht – high end personnel transport with FTL capabilities and an enclosed hangar

Cruise liners (commuting and everyday travel for the masses – can land)

Orbiter class transport – orbital, high capacity cargo/personnel carrier
Sunrise Class liner – old but still often used mass transit ship, needs large landing areas
Coastrunner class intersystem liner – affordable intersystem FTL travel – not much comfort

Construction ships (everything that has creating something as main purpose

Brick Class construction Barge – name says it all – one person welding brick
Mysticeti Class satellite construction ship – repairs and builds orbital satellites
Behemoth Class factory ship – massive refinery and assembler capabilities for orbital construction
Tranquility Class construction coordination ship – comes with two barges, hangar and construction facilities

Cargo transports (everything from small private ships to massive Imperial haulers)
Phand Class – severely outdated private hauler, no FTL
Sailor Class – younger sister of the Phand Class, has FTL capabilities
Rox Class Cargo hauler and Rox gas transport – high-capacity cargo transports with NO luxury
Mianus Class SRC jump tug – jumps small docked crafts back and forth between planets
Carrack Class modular cargo transport – FTL capable transport with modular loading clamps
Ocean Class modular cargo cruiser – FTL capable massive transport with modular loading clamps
Medical ships (you sick? You need medical ship!)

Ambulance transport – minimalistic, short range medical transport
Caritas Hospital Ship – modern, large mobile hospital with surgery, labs, quarantine units and disaster relief pods

Science ships (it’s called SCIENCE fiction, you know?)

Curious Class science drop ship – usually part of a colonisation mission – planetary science ship – no FTL
Neiseg Class mobile laboratory – can land, rather sluggish in space, no FTL
Principa Class Expedition vessel – armed science vessel for medium-term space exploration
Sojourner Class expedition cruiser – massive science ship for planetary and orbital exploration – massive jump range

“Akhi.. Hakhu… what the heck?!”
Akhinnae – it’s my own world, with lore, language, history – I am a nerd, you know?
“DLC split the community, why do you use them here?”
Because I don’t split the community. You can use it without having purchased the DLC – it’s not difficult in this case

Oh right, that's a bit shit then. I get why you've done this more now.

That definetely has been a design decision since the beginning. Either you have all of the DLC installed or you can not build or copy/paste the blocks in question. Mind you, this does not apply to the wrecks of the ships that spawn in the game just fine with the blocks. They serve as "advertisement" - but you cannot copy/paste those either.

I remember not having any problems loading ships without DLC, All of the blocks would spawn. Unless they've changed that as of recent

Yes, you can use them - but the blocks from the DLC will not spawn, making this like a blueprint with mods that you do not have. When it comes to things like conveyors or armouries that are embedded deep in the build, it can get nasty pretty quickly. With the worldfile, all the blocks will spawn and you can redesign it carefully, without "boom" (tm) on all all ends.

Pretty sure that even if you don't have the DLC, you can still load and use blueprints that use DLC can't you?
