Easy Lightbar Repair

Description
Updated June 21, 2024: Fixed a bug where the lightbar would not be repaired if the condition was already 96% or higher. Lowered the skill requirements slightly and roughly doubled the condition increase for the number of parts needed.

Gives the player the ability to repair the lightbar if a vehicle has one.

How to repair a lightbar:

1. Raise your Electrical skill to the level listed in the tool tip. This will vary by vehicle type and will be one level below what is required for the Mechanics skill to work on the engine, or level 5, whichever is less. If the current condition of the lightbar is 0%, this requirement will be increased by one level of the Electrical skill (but capped at level 6).
2. Collect the needed parts to repair in your inventory. This includes Electronics Scrap, and Electric Wire. If the current condition of the lightbar is 0%, you will also need two (plain, without a named color) Light Bulbs and one Amplifier.
3. Open the Vehicle Mechanics menu and right-click on the Lightbar in the parts list.
4. Click on the "Repair" option in the context menu.

The lightbar's condition will be increased according to how many Spare Electrical Parts and Wire you have in your inventory. Currently this is set to a 10% condition increase for every 5 Electronics Scrap and 1 Electric Wire.

Written for and tested only in Project Zomboid version 41.53. Updated for Project Zomboid 41.78.16. All other versions are untested.

@Gamer-Tom @Unctuous Robot Thank you both for reporting the bug. I've found the cause. My fault, just a silly math error for any case where the lightbar condition is 96% or higher. I'll fix it, test the fix, and release the fixed version soon.

Yea it was K15's P19A iirc, that may be the reason I guess, but I've been able to repair them to 100% about half the time and the rest caps at 99%.

@Gamer-Tom Was that on a vanilla vehicle or a modded vehicle?

Idk if it's a bug or not but sometimes I can't repair the lightbar past 99%. It will allow you to keep repairing and wasting resources but won't go to 100 for some reason. It's not like this on all vehicles, just seems random. Otherwise its a good mod.

criminal that we aren't able to replace a lightbulb/siren in vanilla, essential mod, Thnxs :)

This mod and your other one for heaters and gloveboxes are essential in my opinion. I only mod with things I feel you should be able to do in vanilla. Something like this is a no brainer beings we have an electrical skill and find electrical components. Same with the heaters. A master mechanic, metal worker, carpenter, and electrician not being able to figure out how to fix their glove box or light bar? yeah ok lol
