BSG Patrolstar/Gunstar Hecate[OLD]

This is the first ship in the universe BSG, invented and built completely by me. Was conceived as a more agile and powerful analog of escort frigate , which I uploaded here earlier. This patrol ship, armed with torpedoes, capable of penetrating four layers of heavy armor. On a board working conveyors system, ship can fly with thrusters damage/ Comes standard with an escort of four new fighters Viper mk7.
Some history:
During the first Cylon War, the colonists had a lot of small support ships , built and performing each his own role. Despite the abundance of ships, they were able to perform only one role or purpose, and multi-purpose vehicle was not. Around the middle of the war, it was decided to develop a versatile ship that can perform several tasks, including:
- Calculation FTL jump for several ships at once, quickly and efficiently.
- Enhanced radar and sensors.
- Electronic warfare systems for disabling enemy radars and weapons guidance systems .
- Strengthening the signal for the longer connection between the colonial ships.

In the competition for the development won Tauron Aerospace Corporation, whose prototype was able to not only survive with intense damage, but was immune to Cylon viruses . Ships of this class had to serve five years, and spend more than 40 successful military operations, composed of Battlestars groups . After the war, these ships remained in the service . Of the 50 ships built, only one, " Hecate " not upgrated to integrate system network. At the beginning of the second Cylon War, Hecate was attributed to 47th battlestar group. The fate of the ship is unknown.

Features of the new edition Viper mk7:
1) All guns are connected in a single system and have a reserve of ammunition .
2) On board we have a large reactor, which more than covers the energy needs.
