CDFS Empress Alexandra

The single largest vessel in the entire Coalition navy, the CDFS Empress Alexandra is a true behemoth of the sea, armed with 16 massive 18 inch guns for its primary armament, with an equally large secondary battery of casemates and deck guns; extensively retrofitted with anti-aircraft armament since its construction, scattered across the main decks and on heavily built-up platforms above the main guns. The class was originally designed during the last Great War, intended to outgun and destroy any other warship on the face of Neter in pitched battles, with speed being considered secondary to the mounting of the heaviest guns and the thickest armour Pydrinck could produce. While warfare has changed much since her launch, the ship remains in service today with extensive improvements, assisted by the addition of six aircraft catapults, allowing both long range spotting and a degree of striking power beyond cannon range. The ship almost always sails with a huge flotilla of screening vessels, as the loss of such a national symbol of pride and valuable military asset would be a devastating blow to both morale and the war machine, members of the class typically found in heavily guarded ports or patrolling together as a show of force, few surface fleets capable of meeting their challenge.

This craft is built for World War Neter, and may not be practical for use in the default campaign. That said, it is fully functional and could be refit to be campaign practical.
