Kathleen Courtney Hochul is an American lawyer and politician who is currently serving as the 57th Governor of New York since 2021, succeeding governor Andrew Cuomo, who resigned amid sexual harassment allegations. Before this, she served as Lieutenant Governor of New York from 2015 to 2021, and as a U.S. representative from NY-26 from 2011 to 2013.
