How to make the Quintessential Catalyst

Put 13 lots of cow blood into a vial, mix in 3 lots of Aqua Pretium (unicorn tears) and bring to a boil.
Cool and then precipitate carefully with Oil of Tartar (do it slowly or it'll spill out and foam everywhere).
Now dissolve in the Martial Regulus you prepared earlier. Keep mixing until the solution turns lilac.
Sprinkle in some Remum Vitriol to keep the solution from going turgid.
Now dissolve in 20 lots of Aquafort and Salmiac. If you've done it properly, the solution will apparate nicely.
Finally, educate the lime and let it rest on the top of a grandfather clock for 53 hours.
