The Velos-class is a cheap solution to a necessary problem. The need for an expendable drone to engage small fighters and enemy drones brought about the need to produce the Velos. The Velos to keep the vessel cheap, operates with hydrogen thrusters, this however also means she needs to be refueled by a mother ship as she does not have a H2/02 generator. She makes up for this issue with her speed and agility compared to Ion based drones of the same size and mass.

She is armed with 2 forward firing guns, and has roughly enough battery power for 3 hours of continued operation before needing to return to recharge, if she doesn't need to go far, she can conserve power by reducing her antenna range extending her power time and operations.

She has a rear connector to attach to a mothership for refueling and storage.
