Sparks-class Small Ion Repair/Salvage Mark-I

The Sparks-class is a small block vessel designed to be carried by Capital Ships or used in ports for speed of repair. She is compact and easy to store. She has 2 rear landing gears, a rear and bottom connector, and a rear and forward camera to help her navigate. She is designed with a decent sized storage system to hold components in her welders, 3 medium cargo containers, and her 2 connectors. She is Ion based but uses a Hydrogen Engine to generate power primarily. She does have an H2/O2 Generator and an Emergency Small Reactor.

She has 4 forward spotlights and offset lights around her for good visual coverage while working in space. She is very responsive due to her 4 Gyros, but be careful when she is empty as she can be quick to respond. It is best to reduce her Gyro power until she takes on a load of components. She is designed for ease of use and can have her welders replaced with grinders for salvage and demolition work as well. A retrofit design called the Groundhog was designed as a Mining vessel to gather Ice or metals for expedient repairs in the field.

She is commonly carried in the Athena-class Battlecruiser, Perseus-class Heavy Cruiser, Jason-class Light Cruiser, and Selene-class Fleet Carrier.
