Groundhog-class Small Space Miner Mark-I

The Groundhog is a small block vessel designed to be carried by Capital Ships or used in ports for small scale mining operations. She is compact and easy to store. She has 2 rear landing gears, a rear and bottom connector, and a rear and forward camera to help her navigate. She is designed with a decent sized storage system to hold ore in her 4 mining drills and upgraded with 5 medium cargo containers, and her 2 connectors. She is Ion based but uses a Hydrogen Engine to generate power primarily; however, she has 2 breaking hydrogen thrusters. She does have an H2/O2 Generator and an Emergency Small Reactor with 2 backup reactors directly connected to the bottom connector.

She has 4 forward spotlights and offset lights around her for good visual coverage while working in space. She is very responsive due to her 6 Gyros, but be careful when she is empty as she can be quick to respond. It is best to reduce her Gyro power until she takes on a load of ore. She is a retrofit design of the Sparks class as a Mining vessel to gather Ice or metals for expedient repairs in the field.

She is commonly carried in the Athena-class Battlecruiser, Perseus-class Heavy Cruiser, Jason-class Light Cruiser, and Selene-class Fleet Carrier.

Update: Added a Remote Control block to allow it to be remote operated and corrected a group issue with the brake thrusters. Also fixed the Bottom 2 reactors that were turned the wrong way and not properly connected to the bottom connector and finally put the Ore detector back on that was accidentally omitted during a testing phase with a paired ore detection drone.
