Configurable Atmospheric Drag

Description
This is a fork of comfyfutons' Atmospheric Drag mod

original mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2047186508

This is one of my favorite mods, but I always had to edit the drag amount in the mod files since the drag amount in the original mod is insanely high, and not configurable. And unfortunately this meant not being able to use it on servers. So, I took it upon myself to update the mod to allow in-game configuration.

What's changed from the original mod:
  • Drag multiplier can be set per world using the command /atmodrag <value>
  • Default drag multiplier reduced to 1/4 of the value in the original mod
  • Drag multiplier re-scaled so that a multiplier of 1 corresponds to the default amount in this mod. So, a multiplier of 4 would be equivalent to the original mod.
  • Added drag to characters
  • Fixed issue causing small grids to receive twice as much drag as they should
  • Fixed issue causing air density calculation to be wrong on planets with a base air density other than 1
  • Slight performance improvement

Hi there, I use this A LOT together with aerodynamic blocks, but Im having hard time with the drag applied to the character, it makes inertia damper sync pretty hard, it also happen when INSIDE an airlocked moving grid.
WOuld it be possible to take out the drag when inside airlock or just reduce its effect on character alone?
and last, can you add wind?

would it be possible to make a version that checks if something is underwater and if so, gives it a lot of drag?

10/10 would get blown off my base down into a crater on a modded high-wind planet again.

Nice, thanks dude

Yeah, that would be easy actually. I'm working on a new, more comprehensive atmospheric drag mod right now, and I've already added player drag to that. So I'll just throw that system into this mod

Would it be possible to add player drag? mainly to avoid bouncing 10km away from your base when running out of hydrogen while flying

okay

The original mod doesn't have heat damage

can heat damage be configured to be turned off too?
