On a forgotten glitterworld in ages past, engineers of great skill invented the fantastic material known as nanoweave. Interwoven with fine plasteel fibers and laced with circuitry and micro-actuators, this smart fabric is capable of reshaping and adapting itself as its wearer's situation and activities demand and even enhancing their natural physical aptitudes. These outfits embody both form and function, capable of expressing fashion while protecting and assisting its wearers with everyday tasks.

Mod Content

Angel Apparel adds 11 apparel items and 2 headwear from The Eccentric's Angels, a Rimworld webcomic on Reddit:

  • 3 types of nanoweave undersuits that augment their user' strength, speed, and endurance in addition to role-specific bonuses and excellent protection,
  • 5 types of integrated uniforms that offer multi-faceted protection as well as powerful bonuses to specific tasks,
  • 4 types of outer gear that complement and enhance primary outfit bonuses, and
  • 5 types of fashionable headwear to complete the look of a proper Angel!

Angel Apparel items can be crafted at the Nanoassembler.

This mod requires Eccentric Tech - Core to function:



Mod Compatibility

This mod is natively compatible with Combat Extended and will self-patch if loaded after CE!

Nanoweave undersuits and halo helmets grant decompression and hypoxia resistance and thus can be used as space suits for Save Our Ship 2. With SOS2 loaded, you can also craft the nanoweave tactical EMU and nanoweave tech EMU that grant their wearers vacuum mobility.

@Cornuthaum - Carry weight is an odd stat in vanilla, as it's actually the max stack size of items that the pawn can carry. If you are not using increased stack size mods then this value won't do much when you're carrying standard stuff materials like wood or steel as they have a standard stack limit of 75, and mods like Pick Up And Haul use the inventory rather than normal carrying mechanics.

For some reason the maid gear doesn't actually apply its carry weight bonuses. Do you know what mods might cause such a conflict?

@aelanna - any chance for a vanilla-ish undersuit/helmet without legs? Or maid frills on helmet? The textures themselves are great, but want something for my men.

@IceStorm - I personally find glove and boot mods to be a bit too much clutter, but Angel Apparel undersuits and uniforms cover hands and feet already. :)

I love this mod a ton for my late game runs, and wish to make a suggestion. Any chance high heels and gloves to be added? Since a few mods (like VAE) add boots and combat gloves for Marine+ level armor, I think it would be a neat idea to have an eccentric tech equivalent with this.

@Aelanna No just those two really. I just checked your update notes and I can see you've already added it, which is wonderful. You didn't mention it in the mod description, so I wasn't entirely sure whether the properties had been added yet. Glad to see they're there.

Much as I love these, I do have to ask... Why not just make them out of hyperweave? Since that seems to be basically the same stuff?
