Theia is a strike frigate manufactured by Space Defense Systems, designed to gain short-range advantage, that is gained by a firepower consisting of course gatling, rocket launchers, two custom Eos missile turrets and eight BIM-1 hydrogen torpedoes. Combat is primarily a "hit and run" tactic. This tactic's effectiveness is ensured by an all-directional gravity engine that runs on the SDS-GDS script. For stationary targets using mainly turret armament, there is an Evas mode - auto-evasion from incoming enemy fire. The ship has two cockpits - one with windows for visual target detection and exploration, the other hidden under armour in the hull for engagement.

The United Earth Navy had a gap in ship classes when the old equipment was scrapped. The old cruisers were no longer up to the task and battleships were simply an expensive toy. Exploration of deep space had pushed the UE's borders to the point where the fleet simply could not provide security in distant sectors. To stabilize the situation, it was decided to develop a new type of frigate that would be stationed in remote sectors on the station and respond to requests for support from local law enforcement. Based on this request, the Theia strike frigate was developed, which would fly in and unleash its full combat power on the enemy before it even realized it had been hit. Particularly notable in these new engagements was the ship UENS 2402, which secured the Mudrus star system, which later began the active development of the habitable planet Paradise.

Beautiful work, can't believe this isn't on the FP

Quite a capable ship, though it's got some questionable features, like torpedoes only being guided by turrets, which means they lack in range and they might be affected by ECM systems. And also controls are extremely unintuitive and the table in the description doesn`t realy help that much. But it looks amazing
