Description
Please read the instructions! This boat is performance/FPS friendly and career ready!

TRN (Islander) Speeder Mk.1 – Model Number TRS1 – 1st Generation Hull “Mersey” – 1st Generation Pure-Diesel V6 Drivetrain (Modular Engine)

I present the Speeder Mk.1, a downscaled version of the TRN Islander that retains the features and functionality of its larger siblings, designed for those who need a smaller boat that is as capable as possible. The Speeder is an entirely new product, capable of transporting passengers, responding to simple rescues, performing patrols, and being used for leisure. The Speeder can also be used for limited cargo operations.

Advised top speed is 40km/h with a range of 300-400km. Capacity is 12 passengers indoors, 16 passengers outdoors, 2 crew, and 1 bed. Diesel fuel only.

The Speeder is a small passenger transport vessel with a long range, designed to ferry passengers back and forth between islands, the mainland, and outlying bases, like oil rigs. It can also be used for tours. The Speeder can complete extremely long journeys, and can make multiple round trips from Sawyer to the Arctic on a single tank of fuel, like the larger Islander. It also copes well with extreme weather and waves, thanks to its high air intakes, low propellors and rudder, and stabilisers. The Speeder is ideal for a plethora of operations, with a best-in-class long range, high top speed, huge equipment stores, relatively large cabin and deck, large crawl spaces, built in radios and transponder locator/transmitter, rear deck winches, and fire hose outlets.

TRN’s class-leading design has moved into a new market, and the Speeder Mk.1 is ready for whatever challenges you throw at it.

Features:
- Custom design from the ground up, with a brand new, streamlined hull
- Custom drivetrain and TRN Pure-Diesel V6 engine, which allows for up to 400km range and up to 40km/h top speed – 1x 6cylinder, turbocharged, diesel modular engine
- Brand new bridge with brilliant visibility, simple controls layout, and ergonomic display positioning
- Autopilot switching system allows for use of heading hold or waypoint autopilots (switching system is my own, individual AP systems are credited)
- Map and Waypoint Autopilot touch display
- Small touchscreen radio
- Touchscreen transponder locator and transmitter
- Information display
- Rest bed
- Lots of spare equipment in dedicated lockers
- Lots of choice for seating, both indoors and outdoors
- Total passenger capacity of 28 (+2)
- Easy access to engine bay, with access to engine, pump systems, drivetrain and microcontrollers, and automatic lighting
- Automatic bilge pump system, with pumps in the passenger cabin and engine bay, and an indicator in the passenger cabin
- Automatic heating system (with breaker)
- Large rear deck with seating, equipment, fire hose outlets, fuel inlet, and winches
- Relatively large and spacious cabin
- Custom combined throttle and clutch controller
- Various other custom microcontrollers

Instructions:
1. Enter the cabin via the rear central hatch, I recommend closing the hatch
2. Look at the left dashboard and switch on the “Electrical Master” switch
3. Turn the “Ignition” key to start the engine
4. Enter the right seat and use the throttle, or press 4 to increase the throttle

Autopilot Instructions:
1. Look at the autopilot switching panel (2 small arrow buttons and 2 small gauges at front middle of bridge)
2. Press the left arrow button to arm the Waypoint Follow Autopilot, then enter waypoints using the keyboard and button by the left seat, or using the touchscreen map display
2. Press the right arrow button to arm the Heading Hold Autopilot, the heading is not yet selected, but ensure you are travelling in the direction you wish to follow
3. Enter the right seat and press 2 to engage the selected autopilot, the AP indicator will illuminate green and you should see the small right gauge changing as the boat follows your selected heading or selected route. Press 2 again to disengage the autopilot and enter Manual mode
