Pluto-Class Light Cruiser

2.37 kt, 40.7 Mc light cruiser. Carries 100 Callisto II drones and 450 nuclear anti-ship missiles. A 2.48 GW laser and 6 PDCs make up the cruiser's point defense. The cruiser is propelled by either 4 methane nuclear rockets for "quick" maneuvers or a methane magnetoplasmadynamic thruster for long burns. This gives the somewhat fragile ship a maximum delta-v of 51.5 km/s (or 83.3 km/s with the drop tanks), which is useful for long voyages in the outer solar system.

The reactor cannot power both the main engines and the laser at the same time, so the main engines should be shut down while firing.
