New Jersey Transit P40DC Pack

Description
(Requires Space's P42DC Livery Support).

(This pack includes a quartet of P40DC locomotives in NJ Transit livery).

In 2007, NJT bought four ex-Amtrak P40DC locomotives (and renumbered them to 4800 to 4803) for the Atlantic City Express Service, which ran from New York Penn station to Atlantic City between February 2009 and September 2011. These trains were actually propelled by an ALP-44 electric locomotive out of Penn station, with the P40DC on the front.

For reference, the original numbers of each engine were as follows:

4800 - formerly AMTK 812
4801 - formerly AMTK 808 (and not to be confused with KiwiRail's DC 4801)
4802 - formerly AMTK 810
4803 - formerly AMTK 820

Soon after their sale, the NJ Transit P40DCs were upgraded to 4,250 horsepower to match Amtrak and ViaRail’s P42DCs. NJT retained their P40s until 2015, when they were all sold to the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CDOT).
