Description
In this mod I did a variety of tweaking to various aspects of the game. This mod is mostly focused on alleviating some of the frustrations of Kenshi without making the game too easy.

I based some changes off of a few other mods which I will cite at the bottom. My adjustments to economy/shops used another mod as a framework, but I adjusted all of the values myself. My adjustments to storage size is identical to another mod, buzzing of flies, bed healing rate, etc.

Some changes include:

- Fly noises from dead bodies are now muted. Thank god.

- Storage size for most containers are increased. Most are doubled, saving you a lot space so you don't have to have five Building Material Storage boxes clogging up all your base.

- Many resources are now stackable, so they don't clog up your inventory. It's nothing too crazy, it just saves a lot of wasted time micromanaging and watching your dudes walk back and forth for ages.

- Beds heal significantly faster. Normal beds heal at a x5 rate, while sleeping bags are at about x6 rate. It doesn't break the game by any means; it just saves you a lot of time sitting around and waiting.

- Most shops in the game now have a decent amount of Cats to buy goods from you. Shops in the Holy Nation have little money, while large shops such as the Scrapmasters have more.

- Depending on the location of the shop, its size, and its goods, shops may have more or less money and stock. The value ranges from between 1-2x more than before. It's nothing too crazy, just makes it easier to sell and buy ♥♥♥♥.

- Added descriptions to some items, and rewrote some to make more sense.

UPDATE 09/08/21:

- Altered name of mod file to match other TrueVanilla mods, making it easier to see/sort them in load order.

This is still a work in-progress. I would absolutely love feedback about your thoughts, experiences, etc.

UPDATE 03/13/22:

Hey, it's been a while. I've been busy with life but thought I'd put in a little work for Kenshi. This project isn't abandoned, it's just taking a while. I've integrated changes from the following mods, but have edited most all values myself as they were rather unbalanced:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=943661153
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1617073560

- Most characters now carry a small amount of Cats on them. This number ranges from 1 to around 500, based on their occupation and racial values. It may only be chump change, but it's a bit of a bonus for knocking busters out and taking risks. Stronger characters have higher amounts of Cats.

- Some characters such as Fogmen and Fishmen carry heads on them that can be turned in for cash. Others carry additional loot based on their classes and races, IE: skeleton wanderers having repair kits, tech shopkeepers carrying books, etc.

- Gates are now stronger. The lowest tier gate has 50 health now with each upgrade adding 50 or more health. It's nothing crazy, it just makes gets a bit less useless. Upgrading is still a worthwhile investment, but doesn't make your base unbreakable.

UPDATE 3/22/22:

- Adjusted sell values of Fog Heavy and Gurgler heads so they're a bit more balanced.

It should be up to date with my main mod, which doesn't cause any issues. I made mods during a period of time where the game didn't update for a few years and was in a seemingly finished state while Kenshi 2 was being developed. I'll be touching these up maybe over the summer

The beds can have an effect on gameplay since when you get raided you can just recover much faster between raids, otherwise just what I was looking for.

but yeah, a bit of quicker healing does help save time (without taking away the need for hunger/eating)

hehe, when i saw the gfx above, i thought the beds were "good bed" because it contained "no flies" :)
