JNR TaKi 3000 tank wagon

Description
The Taki 3000 is a 30-ton tank car for transporting gasoline that was introduced in 1947 by Japan's national railway. The first 50 cars were owned by JNR and used to transport fuel for the Occupation Forces. After 1952, private owned variants were mass-produced and owned by many owners, and became a popular oil tank car in Japan after WWII. Some of these vehicles were used to transport fuel for the U.S. military in Japan.

Feb. 12, 2022: U.S. Forces Japan fuel transport vehicles (BEITAN) added. There are three types: early and late US Army Transport Corps, and NRS variants. These cargo is fuel only.

Oct 8, 2024: Added JNR-owned variants available from 1947. Existing standard types have their year of availability changed to 1952.
