Howdy y'all! Tonight, I bring you my first (real) map. Concho Valley, Texas is a map based almost exclusively off of the city of San Angelo, Texas, located in the Concho Valley region of West Texas. In the west/northwest there's the OC Fisher reservoir, in the southwest there's Lake Nasworthy (in 2 different segments here since the heighmap cut off around there) and making a course through the map is the Concho River. It might not seem like a valley with how flat it is but that's just how it is I suppose, at least according to the height map I used. This map should be a good fit for those who want to make a mid-sized city of around 50-100k people, which is just about the population of San Angelo proper. I thought this would be a nice and easy enough try for a real attempt at a map. It was a bit tiring making it after a while bc I wanted it to be as realistic as possible, and ultimately I think it turned out pretty well :)

All required items are in the collection linked above, including different mods, assets, and props. Mass Transit is absolutely required. This is also a map where 25/81 tiles is very highly recommended.
Screenshots/Preview pictures created with Oklahoma Summer theme by SanditeSpartan117, Relight mod and Relight Warm LUT by Ronyx69, and Ultimate Eyecandy v.1.5.2 by Judazzz.

Be sure to leave a like if you like it! I'm planning on making more maps eventually and a like would be a big help in spreading it around :)

Also be sure to comment if anything is wrong. It should be okay but obviously I'm not perfect so there could be something I missed. Thank you and good night! :D

UPDATE MARCH 17, 2022 11:10PM CDT
In the words of Staind, "it's been awhile". And since it's been awhile, this map has been updated so that 1) the requirement for Network Extensions 2 is removed and 2) the twin buttes located in the southwest of San Angelo are now in this map. As per usual, let me know of any issues if they crop up. Happy building!

UPDATE 3/17/22, no NExt 2 roads anymore so that requirement has been removed and twin buttes have been added to the southwest corner of the map as they're there irl

@ronhalljr77 I've heard of Vanilla++ but I can't say I've tried them out or anything. Whenever I update this map it'll probably be with just regular Mass Transit roads so as to not add anything extra but I'll check out the Vanilla++ ones whenever I'm back in the map editor. Thank you for liking my stuff! :D

I dont mean the vanilla maps in the game, I mean the road pack Vanilla++. Check them out, they will look very familiar and quite honestly a great replacement but would add more downloads to your 1-click collection. BTW, i love the fact you are doing the 1-click collection even when your asset needs are so little :)

@ronhalljr77 Thank you! You caught me at the perfect time considering I just now uploaded a map of Stephenville. I do agree with NExt 2 since alot of the time I use it, it messes with my game. I definitely need to update this soon, and when I do it'll likely be with Mass Transit roads. And good point about the connections as well. I'll keep all that stuff in mind! :)

Oh, and list of connections and how many of each, IE rail, highway, sea & air. Really want your maps to take off and this is a key thing ppl look at when looking at maps.

I love Texas maps since I'm in Austin, but do not like Network Extensions 2. Can you consider using another road source in the future? like Vanilla ++. Basically NE2 without all the headaches.

@DC I think the height map cut off around there so that's probably why they're not here lol. I can hopefully update it soon and put them somewhere around there since having that would definitely help make the map a bit more exciting :)
