ATSF Warbonnet FP45 No. 108

Description
(Requested by The Trainfan 9782).
(Requires Stationmaster's F45 model).

Santa Fe 108 is a preserved EMD FP45 diesel locomotive, based at the Southern California Railway Museum in Perris, California. She was built for the ATSF in 1967, as the last passenger locomotive ever purchased by the railroad.

The engine remained in front-line passenger service until 1971, when Amtrak took over most of the long-distance passenger trains in the US. She was renumbered to 98 in the 1990s, and survived in service long enough to be inherited by BNSF in 1995. Four years later - in 1999 - she was sold to the Orange Empire Railway Museum (now the SCRM) and saved for preservation.

After a six-year long restoration (which included a return to her original number), ATSF 108 returned to service in 2018.

ATSF F45s/FP45s are classic, and it's super-cool to have one in Warbonnet now. Time to run some diesel thunder over the desert!

Can you make Amtrak SDP40F 503, 529, 522, and 555?
