"Sold poorly" my ass, SEGA, where's my sequel?
I've been playing a lot of Alien: Isolation recently, and I really like it, it's like my 2nd favorite horror game. So I ported the flashlight over to L4D2, because it looks cool.

What makes this different from the one already on the workshop? It's the texture directly ripped from the game, and not an in-game screenshot of it on a wall.

Maybe one day I'll be able to get the weapons ported too, but sadly for now exporting the models is experimental and doesn't always work correctly. Once it's more refined and we have a proper tool for it I'll definitely do it though!

Hey question, Could you upload a smaller version? Like one that like 50% smaller? that would be neat :)

The static from the broken mipmaps should be fixed now.

There seems to be static around the flashlight when you are close enough to a wall. Mind cleaning that out? Overall, great flashlight

Right now I can export most models and textures, but unfortunately some models won't import into blender correctly and some textures can't be converted. Fairly soon the modding tool OpenCAGE will be getting an update so maybe the process of importing/exporting models and textures will be made much easier/better.

I knew the old one was off but I couldn't quite put my finger on why. This is loads better.

As for the weapon models, there was a Blender importer that could convert the models directly once the game files were unpacked, but It probably doesn't work with newer versions of Blender. The biggest problem is the textures, since they mostly use shared tiled textures and locating the right ones is a pain in the ass. I actually have some old Blender projects where I tried to rig to shotgun and the revolver, but I could only ever find some of the textures.
