(Mod has been renamed to more accurately reflect that this is a fork and not an actual "continued" update of the original mod)

This is my highly-unofficial "TribalInstruments" fork (The original mod has now updated to 1.3 but I'm going to leave this here anyway). Now updated to 1.4/1.5

Please note: all assembly functionality has been removed, and I have refactored the instruments according to Core/Royalty standards. Royalty DLC is required for this fork (the original mod, with no such requirement, has been updated to 1.3).

Adds:

Ranat
Ogolupe
Conga

All function as standard musical instruments (i.e. the Harp, Piano, etc.)

I have one issue with this mod. Steel as one of components for two instruments is pretty far in progression from tribal to at least late medieval, and before using metal strings our ancestors used animal sinews and plant-based strings, so it could be pretty logical to add leather or something similar (maybe hay?) as component for string instruments. And also it's all because of my colony playing with medieval overhaul and we don't have easy access to steel :"D

Hi ! Perhaps it is possible to integrate the retextures into this mod directly since it has never been updated and the author authorizes it?

Suggestion: change mod name from "TribalInstruments (Royalty)" to "Tribal Instruments (1.5+)". With space as in original

I've pushed an update with the thingClass explicitly in the defs. Please let me know if that helped it.

I think you have to set it IN the file itself instead of inheritance. I hope that you will ask the VFE development board for help with it. I'd love to see your Musical Instruments count towards Ballrooms.
