If I remember correctly it should be possible to charge it through the couplings (front or back). You will need a beefy generator though
You can use the slow reverse button on the touch screen (hold will reverse at 7kph if I remember correctly).
If you need to reverse faster you will need to use a locomotive that drives the other way (the back locomotive of this TGV ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2596735183 ) for example will work but you can also use any other TCv2 compatible locomotive or control car).
This TGV locomotive is capable of reversing at full speed using this method. It just requires external control for safety reasons.
