ExiledLands AOC Map Edits Reverter - Updated on 2025-05-27
This project started as an experiment, when I started learning to map edit.

Upon the interest of a few friends, I spent some time figuring out how to block the map edits that are part of the AOC mod to give them more control over how they customized their RP worlds, and can still access all the AOC skills, abilities, creatures and accessories.

Yes this removes everything associated with AOC from the maps, and means that you can make AOC compatable with any map mod that is an edit of Exiled Lands, and Yes you will need to be creative in how you set up all the AOC things. Follow Espins AOC Admin & Custom Map Guilde to get all the instruction on how to do this, you can find this guide in the offical AOC Discord.

Enjoy unlocking your imagination and incorperating AOC into your world and lore!!

Load AOC then this mod, then load any other map changing mods you would like.
I have tested it with Tir-an_Nog & Underdark, Rebirth, and Savage Wilds and a few of SnowHunters Level edits and have not seen any issues.

Load order:
AOC
This Mod to overwrite and restore ExiledLands
Load any custom map mods after this to overwrite the restored Exiledlands areas with there edits.

I have recently been commissioned by Redbeard to create a second version of this mod that only removes the Southern Zone changes, and keeps all the camps/dungeons and extra AOC levels.

its just downloads itself, sometimes doesnt and then i have to restart boosteroid client until it does

playing on boosteroid and have to download this mod but with 9.7 gb size each time i log in or the game won't function properly, but im not subscribed to this and it's much less size than in download i get

so, if i understand correctly what this does, is that it removes the aoc content from the maps, like the mods, and the aesthetic changes to the bioms, but leaving in the assets, and the resources?

This only touches the Map Edits, and leaves the UI and other custom visuals.

Running a Poll in the discord about the UI, and weather I should remove my adjustments that restore it to Conan Vanilla or allow the AOC UI to exist again. Please feel free to vote or share your thoughts on it.

TheExiledLands AOC blocker removes everything AOC, including the faction hall.

Hi!

When I teleport to Faction Hall I end up in the air -floating in water.

FYI, there are map UI icons for AOC locations still showing up. Not sure if it's possible for you to remove those, but it would be helpful and less confusing for players.
