Description
Experience what could have been the single-player campaign of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory... cooperatively!

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory was initially going to be released as a Return to Castle Wolfenstein expansion, featuring squad-based single-player gameplay, before it became a F2P, multiplayer-only standalone title.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Cooperative aims to recreate the cut single-player campaign of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory – the missing link of the classic Wolfenstein series – in the form of a squad-based* cooperative conversion of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Single-Player's story-driven maps.

How To Play
Run one of the following:
  1. Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1379630\2600726979\RealRTCWCoop.bat
  2. Start Menu → All apps → Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory Cooperative → Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory Cooperative - Steam.lnk
  3. Desktop → Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory Cooperative - Steam.lnk

Shortcut(s) Installation Instructions
Run the following:
  • Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1379630\2600726979\etcoop-steam.exe
It is advised not to run Steam while running the setup, otherwise the later may crash.

Troubleshoot
If Steam is not installed in C:\Program Files (x86), edit both "C:\Program Files (x86)" parts accordingly in the .bat files of the Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1379630\2600726979 folder. If you decide to install the shortcut(s), edit the same part when choosing the Destination Location.

*Squad-based gameplay only available in vanilla RTCWCoop.

Are enemies supposed to drop ammo in coop? I'm playing with a friend and it's not giving us ammo from the dropped weapons...

Any update on new weapons for coop?

⚠️ As of the latest update, Version 1.04 (12.06.2021), the installation of this addon does not require an installer any longer, and automatically installs and updates itself upon subscription. As such, it is strongly advised to uninstall any previous version that came with an installer.

I have followed the instructions, installed the mod but when I start it, nothing happens. Except one second of black screen, as if it was about to start, but thats it. On second try I get the message suggesting to start in safe mode. Choosing Yes or No, still the same result - 1 sec black screen and crash. Any help?

No worries now! Thank you for your time and the good news, William.

bigjoe This issue happens because, in normal circumstances (single-player), the mission fails when all allies are eliminated. In coop, all allies are killed very quickly unfortunately, because of the higher AI skill that is litterally coded in this version of the game. I will get rid of this issue by removing the mission fail though. Thank you for reporting this to me, and my apologies for the trouble it may have caused. Have a good game. 👍
