Description
Metra Commuter

Metra is a commuter rail system in the Chicago metropolitan area serving the city of Chicago and surrounding suburbs. The system operates 242 stations on 11 rail lines.[1] It is the fourth busiest commuter rail system in the United States by ridership and the largest and busiest commuter rail system outside the New York City metropolitan area.

This train is modeled after their Highliner 1 series of cars, initially used by Illinois Central before Metra took over commuter service. The passenger train is based off the many commuter trains that Metra used to run in Chicago. The Highliner 1 was retired in 2015 and replaced with the Highliner 2 which looks similar to their current gallery cars.

How to Use

Train functions as a regular passenger train but due to the height of the pantograph you will need to use the new Railway 2 network sets for the Pantograph to contact the wires properly in game.

Like another comment said, an MP54 would be awesome! Actually, any less represented electric from the northeast would be great. Maybe an E44, one of the SEPTA silverliners, an E3c, a P5, MBTA orange, red or blue line trains, or even a New York Central P-motor if you want to get fancy.

Never been to the US. But somehow this is what I imagine all electrified rail looks like over there. Would love to see one in person or even cruising around germany.
Awesome!
