Fix Signal Booster Tech
v1.1 Sept 30th, 2021

Picard Patch Only

After researching Signal Boosters both the Drone Hubs and Drone Hub Extenders are suppose to have an additional 15 hex radius.

This mod is a fix to the missing code that is required to make the Drone Hub Extenders have that extra 15 hexes.

After researching (or if you did already) Signal Booster Tech, all NEW drone hub extenders will be set correctly.
Existing Drone Hub Extenders will need to be demolished, rebuilt and reconnected.

When the developers fix this in their code, you can turn this mod off in Mod Options.

Report any issues on the mods' bug report page.

it says Picard patch only. Are there any plans on updating it to work with the newer expansions? Its not working for me or maybe i dont know how to enable it correctly

@SkiRich really... it's like that? LOL Also, ive been seeing things like Concrete Deposits in the Below but their icon's on the planet surface in the mountains. And I still think it's weird you need to power the Elevator from above and below. Seems like a little sloppy for a release. I mean Exotic Materials weren't even put into the Universal Depot. I kind of hope they add more dome buildings and alternate models for some of them that still don't. Thanks for the help.

Agreed. The devs are working on it.
In the interim if you want a lot of disasters, dont use any of the game rules for disasters.
Just find a map with max disasters. Then they all work.

@SkiRich really? That's a pretty big bug, I turned on all the extreme weather toggles, and I am in a playthrough around Sol 12 (with 8 Sensor Towers,) not one warning of extreme weather events, not one random meteor, nothing. Makes it kind of boring. Not sure what's going on, maybe it's my location, but i thought if i turned on game rules that max these out, it would have happened already. I guess all the Youtubers who have had normal play throughs had an earlier test verson.

Dust devils are currently broken in game. The devs know about it.

@SkiRich Hey Richard, I am also Richard, and go by Rich. Anyways, ha, I hope you see this. I am new to Surviving Mars, but not resource management games or strat games in general; I have a question/ask for you: There is an event where an Explorer, after scanning an Anomaly (I forget which type, but I know for sure it's not a scientific anomaly,) where the story is about methane or some kind of gas pocket was breached and you gain nothing, but (a) Dust Devil(s) are suppose to form and you have a little time to run your Explorer away. This event, I have had 3 times now, and have not seen any Dust Devil(s) form any of those times. Could you take a look at this code, maybe write a fix for a mod and report it? Or is this something that is known about?
