The Gupinggang Interchange（古平岗立交） project includes a main line viaduct over the Model road（模范马路）. The viaduct is 1,100 meters long and passes under the existing Huju North Road（虎踞北路） viaduct. The design speed of the main line bridge is 60 km/h and the ramp design speed is 35 km/h.

The clear height between the viaduct and the ground is 5 meters, and the clear height between the viaduct on Huju North Road is 4.5 meters. In addition, the overpass will also construct two ramps from east to south and from south to east. The total length of the two ramps reaches 550 meters. However, the two ramps currently being constructed can only allow vehicles from south to north on Huju North Road to enter the east side of Model Road, and vehicles from east to west on Model Road to enter the south side of Huju North Road.
