Nanjing Xinzhuang Interchange(南京新庄立交） is a three-story interchange, which belongs to the junction of the northeast line of Nanjing Express Inner Ring Road, and is located in Xinzhuang Square in the north of Xuanwu District（南京玄武区）. The project started construction in January 1999. The main bridge has a net height of 18 meters and a construction area of more than 40,000 square meters. The main bridge of the first phase of the project was 2,328 meters long and had a total area of 29,900 square meters. It was known as the landmark project of Nanjing at that time. The second phase of the project was completed and opened to traffic in August 2001.

Xinzhuang Interchange is located at the intersection of the two express roads of Jiuhua Mountain（南京九华山隧道） and Xuanwu Lake Tunnel（南京玄武湖隧道）, plus the original railway station station square elevated expressway, Longpan Road, Hongshan Road, and 312 National Road (Xuanwu Avenue) after vehicles enter the square. The Xinzhuang Square interchange roundabout has realized traffic conversion, making Xinzhuang Square one of the famous traffic jams in Nanjing, especially during the morning and evening rush hours.
