Description
***IMPORTANT***

First and foremost, this mod was heavily inspired by the earlier versions of Jewy's Limbs Overhaul (JLO) - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1728402822&searchtext=jewys
And I do recommend playing with this as a sort of add-on to JLO. There's some pretty cool stuff there. I'm simply just not a fan of what the update changes.

Edit: Seems the changes in the JLO update have been reverted.

So. JLO was recently updated to add a whole bunch of new limbs and prosthetics. However, this update also removed the MkI-III Power and Swift arm variants. Two staple additions of this mod, for me at least.
(I don't know if they will be added back into the parent mod in the future, but as of posting this, they have been removed.)

This mod primarily serves to add them back :) Under the new name of Anima Corp! With changes, of course. My version of these limbs slightly modifies some values of these limbs to be a bit more balanced (in my eyes at least).

- a tad less strength for the power arm (masterwork is only a 50% increase now) to make sure players still have to train their strength up a bit to earn those op heavy weapons

- the swift arm is made more useful and now gives minor percentage bonuses to dex related skills on top of a significant bonus to base dex (i.e. lockpicking and crossbows)

See the images for more details. These limbs still remain very, very powerful and I tried to keep them true to the Mk variants they were inspired by with the stats they increase. Though just not quite as OP as the previous versions were.

The MkI-III system in the prior mod, JLO, has been removed. Instead, I opted for the simpler base game system. (Cuz tbh there was only ever any reason to save up for (or steal) the highest quality MkIII ones. Plus this saves me a bunch of work)

Shoddy - Masterwork grade tiers. And stat modifiers will increase and decrease accordingly to the quality of the prosthetic.

At first, I made this mod solely for myself because I enjoyed the simpler version of JLO. I'm really just not a fan of many of the new limbs the updated version adds. Some are just completely overtuned (+100% stat increases across the board) and others just don't really have that Kenshi feel to em, at least not for me. What I really hated though, was the organic limb vendors the update added, wandering the world. True. That last part certainly fits Kenshi, but just not my tastes. Anyway.

Edit: Again, it seems like the update was made into it's own separate mod.

Thus I decided to share this publicly, in case some others feel the same way and want a simpler version of a limb overhaul mod, without all the clutter and fancy blade legs or extra npcs :)

It works as a substitute mod if you want something close to the original, but if you just want the power and swift arms back. It works just fine as an add-on to Jewy's Limbs Overhaul as well.

***WHAT THIS MOD ADDS***

Since I figure some people might be using this as a standalone mod, I also decided to go ahead and add my own versions of scout and heavy legs in accordance to their arm counterparts.

Currently there are four new limb models, each with the potential to vary in quality.

- Anima Power Arm
- Anima Swift Arm
- Anima Speed Leg
- Anima Sturdy Leg
- Edited and corrected the icons of vanilla 'left legs' and 'right arms' for consistency

Each Limb serves a specific purpose and will best be used on a certain type of character. (Images have exact details)

This mod also introduces a new manufacturer to the game - The mysterious Anima Corporation!

Each Limb has a little tidbit of lore the player can read about the origins of the model.
You can piece together for yourself who this group was or perhaps what they did. Were they a group that dominated the Second Empire? Perhaps they were simply a relic of the first? You decide.
There's not a whole lot here. But I personally enjoy getting scraps of info and the opportunity to develop an idea of what this giant tech corporation could have been. If nothing else, it just adds a bit of padding to Kenshi's extensive lore.

***WHERE TO FIND***

As is typical for most high-level limbs, these can only be found in Black Desert City through the robotic limb vendor.
I am going to eventually add them being sold by the robotic vendors in major cities too I think. - done and implemented. With a small chance to spawn lower quality versions.

I'll make a discussions tab for balancing/changes. I tried to increase the price a bit to keep it in line for how powerful these limbs are/can be. But if you have a suggestion for how these should be balanced or if they're too cheap/expensive feel free to comment!

Disclaimer - Yeah. These limbs are MEANT to be quite powerful. A lot stronger than those you'll find in vanilla. But I don't want them to be something extremely OP to the point that makes the game a cakewalk if you got a full squad with these. Though, that's kinda hard not to do heh.

Looks like the pathing is out internally ".\data\icons\Swift arm (right).png" is the reference but they're in ".\data\Swift arm (right).png" in the mod. Just needs the icons shunting into an "icons" folder.

@散架奎恩 could you try relaunching the game to see if the mod updates properly? I hope this is just a one-off problem with me editing the icons. As you can see from the screenshots, the icons *should* be working fine. If anyone else has the same issue were the icons aren't properly displaying, please let me know.

That's strange. Could be because I recently just updated the icons. Just loaded up a save to check and everything is working fine. No missing textures.
