Description
Realism but with a few differences: bots can't shoot through players, weapon and item spawns are significantly reduced, and special infected can spawn from behind. The permawipe cvar is active so if the team gets wiped in a chapter, you'll lose the campaign and be sent back to the lobby. Play smart!

Yes it is by changing the cvar sb_friendlyfire to 1 which is 0 by default. They do a great job of avoiding you for the most part but they almost always end up downing you and themselves with frag rounds :tank:

@Klourice try Ultra Realism+ by Xanaguy. This started out as a modified version of that mutation but I removed the individual perma death and kept hud turned on. It sounds fun but it always becomes a slog having to backtrack through levels to defib dead survivors, plus the vscript for killing “dead” players at the start of each chapter disables achievements. IMO it Just becomes a waste of time because it’s stupid easy to die in realism.

Still waiting on the version of realism that removes players from the game entirely if they die but don't get revived.
