“Frontier” Scientific Research Exploration System(No Mod)

Description
“Frontier” Scientific Research Exploration System
" Frontier " is a system used for scientific research and exploration of unknown star domains and unknown worlds on the periphery. The system includes the "Abyss-Class" large-scale exploration mothership. A ring-shaped "Sundial-Class" rapid deployment forward base is mounted on the abdomen of the mothership, and a "Spike-Class" rapid deployment outpost is mounted on the tail. In addition, there are also supporting " Journey Class" scientific research and exploration vehicle and messenger series transport/armed boats.
When exploring the unknown world, the "Abyss-Class" mothership first enters orbit for observation. When the orbital observation data proves that the surface environment meets the safety conditions, the "Sundial" base can be directly projected. When orbital observations cannot obtain sufficient surface safety data, the "Spike" outpost will be first sent to detect the surface conditions and open up a landing safe zone, and then the "Sundial" base can be projected.

"Abyss Class" Exploration Ship
"Abyss-class" is a large exploration ship. As the central node of the "Frontier" system, a docking interface with the "sundial" base is reserved at the bottom, and a docking interface with the "spike" outpost at the tail. "Abyss Class" is mainly used for orbital observations and deep-space observations. It also has the ability to fly in the atmosphere and has a vector engine in the tail. The center of the hull is a ring structure, and the inner side of the ring structure is similar to a dock. The inner side of the ring at 12 o'clock is the main hangar and the secondary hangar. The main hangar can accommodate a “Messenger A” transport boat and a “Messenger B” armed boat. The second hangar has a full flight deck, which can park small transportation boats. The front of the hangar is a transitional node cabin, below which can lead to the "Sundial" base. Passing through the node compartment is the earth observation room and the bridge. The 2 o'clock direction of the ring structure is the preparation room, and the 10 o'clock direction is the industrial zone. The inner side of the ring structure has space-based mining machines and engineering boats at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock, and the outer side is the living area, and the windows outside the living area have shading panels. The 6 o'clock direction on the inner side of the ring structure is the dispatching room, which has a good view and is used for dispatching the work area in the ring. The rear of the dispatch room is the reactor room, and the tail of the reactor room can be docked with the "Spike" outpost.

"Sundial Class" Rapid Deployment Forward Base
The "Sundial Class" is a semi-permanent forward base designed for rapid orbit deployment, and is projected by the "Abyss Class" mothership. After the scientific research mission is completed, the base can be re-docked with the "Abyss-Class" mothership on the orbit by single-stage orbit. The "Abyss-Class" mothership can also complete re-docking in the atmosphere. The "Sundial" base has a ring structure, with a comprehensive living area at 12 o'clock, including dormitories, laboratories, and control rooms. The landing platform and crane can be deployed inside the integrated living area. The 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock directions are hangars, which can park the “Messenger A” transport boat and the “Messenger B” armed boat. The top of the hangars are folding solar panels. Both the hangar entrance and the apron have elevators for members to commute. The 6 o'clock direction is the industrial zone and the garage. There is a lifting mechanism in the garage for overhauling the " Journey Class " scientific research and exploration vehicle.

"Spike Class " Rapid Deployment Outposts
The "Spike Class" is a rapid deployment outpost. When the local surface environment cannot be effectively assessed by orbital detection, detailed detection can be carried out by projecting "Spikes" outposts, and a safe zone will be opened up for the subsequent "Sundial" bases. The "Spike" outpost can be remotely controlled for unmanned delivery, or it can enter its control room for manual delivery. The overall structure of "spikes" is similar to blooming petals, so it has a certain ability to automatically correct itself. The center is industrial equipment, the 12 o'clock is the control cabin, and the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock are the living cabins. A total of 2 members can be accommodated. The 6 o'clock is a comprehensive operation area, with medical rooms, communication antennas, solar panels, and a landing platform which can accommodate single-person transportation boats.

“Journey Class” Scientific Research Vehicle
" Journey Class" is a scientific research and exploration vehicle supporting the "Sundial" base. This vehicle can be divided into three parts: the control section, the member section and the operation section. The member section is connected to the operation section. The operation section has a crane and an excavator. When the excavator is unfolded, the working platform will also be extended, creating a larger working space. There are cranes and hydrogen propellers at the bottom of the car body, which meet the requirements of operational stability and the ability to cross over complex terrains.

“Messenger-A” Transport Boat&“Messenger-B” Armed Boat
The messenger series multifunctional boats are vehicles designed to perform missions in an unknown world. There are currently developed A-type transport boats that can transport 4 members; B-type armed boats, with gatling turrets and rocket nests, are used to provide security during the exploration of the unknown world. The messenger series all have a single-stage orbital capability, which can establish a material circulation line between the "Abyss-Class" exploration mothership on the orbit and the "Sundial-class" forward base on the land.

To add, due to the game's sub-grid bug, the angle of the garage's rotor exceeds the lower limit set after the blueprint is pasted. The latest version of the blueprint has modified the lower limit of the angle to avoid problems with the motion mechanism.

The latest version fixes the problem of incorrect locking of the rotor in the hangar

Supplementary notes:

The number 9 buttons of the control seats of the "sundial" base and the "spike" outpost are separated from the mothership, and the 8 and 9 buttons of the upper bridge control seat of the mothership are also separated. Be careful when using them and be careful of accidental touches. The number 1 button of the base control seat and the number 2 button of the mothership are both landing gear deployment. When the base is separated from the mothership, the button of the mothership becomes invalid. The base expansion and retracting respectively need to be activated after the base is separated and the base is expanded, so when the base is not separated, the above function buttons theoretically will not be accidentally touched.

The propulsion compartment on the back of the mothership uses a sub-grid engine, and the tail vector engine is also a sub-grid (controlled by the cockpit number 1 button). The sub-grid engine uses a script, so try to ensure that the script support option for the world is turned on.

so. are you going to make this in SE2?

I really wanted use this, but there is way too much going on and none of the button panels are labeled or setup. It looks incredible though.

It's incredible, but it's impossible to play it. It's impossible to put it all together. And all the signatures are in some incomprehensible font, just symbols.

DO NOT PRESS Y OR P FROM THE MAIN SHIP.
You will power down EVERYTHING and uncouple all ships in every single bay causing them to bang and explode when you fly around.
The asteroid miner ship (long like a hotdog) Is ONLY viable in space. if you unpark it while in atmosphere it will fall to the ground and good luck ever getting it docked again.

To the haters "I pressed one button and everything exploded" well, that's because you are a genius that is trying to uncouple parts of the ship causing them to clang around and explode while they bump or fall into each other.
You OBVIOUSLY cannot uncouple a part of the main ship without being in space.
There is a main cockpit to fly this thing, a cockpit that will uncouple/couple the ships, a cockpit to remote control the Spike flight. A separate cockpit in the lower ring (with a glass room and two cryo tanks that use main ship hydrogen to refill) that does Lower ring only landing gear, parachutes, thrusters, solar array, (something else not sure yet) and uncouple/couple with main ship.

Please breed me.

Wow! There's lots of clanging though, and I can't seem to find a bridge or cockpit where I can just shut the thrusters off or extend the solar panels.

absolutely incredible work!
