Magazine Capacity: 30
Reserve ammo type: Assault Rifle (300 in reserve)
Ammo: 7.62x39mm HP with BP gzh penetration and armor damage.
Damage: 87
Penetration level: 2
After penetrating damage: 87*.63 = 54.81 (one shots common infected on normal difficulty)
Recoil for vert. punch: 3.48 (fairly moderate/intense)
Rate of Fire: 600 RPM

Based off the AKM and given a polymer furnish to be more fitting in a modern era. Uses the larger 7.62x39mm Intermediate round, which offers better armor penetration at the cost of damage compared to 5.45 due to overpenetration and lack of yawing when penetrating the flesh. However, in a zombie apocalypse, this is a good thing- as you can rack up more bodies as the 7.62 round strikes through their body to hit another zombie.

Can you decrease the reserve ammo to 180 It'll be better.

I do expect lower crouch aim accuracy, lower the aim dispersion during standing still shots. The damage i do think it's enough, adding extra might make it too OP since it can mostly deal with zombies in campaign. Tried in realism, perfect since it's a two shot kill.

thanks for the feedback, i can try decreasing the recoil or increasing damage to sort of act as a counterbalance for its recoil/poor accuracy
i also think the M4A1 works fine for me as well
i personally just run and gun, but i haven't played in at least a week or more, so i'll need to do personal testing
recoil is just more camera shake during shots, i can attempt to lower it to be more moderate, i find the M1911 script i made have a lot of punch and personally feels satisfying to use for me
tldr:
i'll try to see what i can do regarding recoil, i might increase damage by 20 to allow it to one shot (barely) infected on expert as well, or keep damage and instead lower recoil and increase aim recovery time (i forgot what the line was in the code for it) and decrease dispersion, the numbers are things i pulled out of my ass and aren't too well thought of

i mean, gotta agree with that. need to closing the distance to make the shot count. long range i found your M4A1 Carbine script works wonder. yet, i disagree with one tap, because i tried that, and in order to get that one tap accuracy around at least 80%, i need to crouch for at least 1.5s before being able to get to that accuracy.

i personally would advise one taps, or closing the distance. only two shots are needed on target to take them out.

god, the script makes the gun unusable in the long range. the recoil's just hideous man. it's fun to play with but damn that's too random of a recoil to handle at times.
