Welcome to the Big River Wilderness. Terrain is from the Richland, Washington USA area. The river is the Columbia River. I flipped east and west on the map because I wanted the wider and more accessible area of the river to go to the Soviet border.

Good news, resources are more plentiful and deposits generally richer on this map (compared to some of my others)... however, getting the resources out may prove a challenge. There is only one medium Soviet border connection, and two NATO connections (one small, one medium). Power is also available at the northern (NATO) and southern (Soviet) borders.

My goal with this map was to provide a rich and challenging experience that will hopefully include lots of boats, and some epic river crossing bridges.

This is the first version of the map, it hasn't been playtested thoroughly yet, so let me know if you run across any issues, or have suggestions for the map.

Hello morcup, I made a little video where I follow a gravel transport over the map. It´s in German. But I thought it´s worth showing.

Best regards.

I love this map, relying on river transport is a really fun challenge.

Yes I have been seeing your screenshots recently. They are excellent. I have never progressed as far in building on a single map as you. Seeing other people's construction on my maps helps me better understand how to improve future maps.

Looks nice. But I like the challenge.
I made a lot of screen shots the last few days.

I got the idea to remake this map, but I ended up making something that is a bit different. The new map is about 1/4 of the area of this map, and has better terrain resolution, so the slopes are not as stepped. Hello Murcup, I love your map.
Here is where I cross the river. I can post a few more later on.
I modified the map slightly. I moved the border a bit.
I started 1929. I am now in 1975.
The bridges are just finished.

Realy great job on the map i am currenlty in year 2007 and planing to go till 2050 if i can work the sewage system on existing save, 1 issue i encountered is the lack of bigger rail connections on exports and that bigger ships(modded) are getting stuck at export to NATO, but still realy great job
