MWS-B | L76/59 "Cheetah" 76mm Stabilised Naval Gun

Description

Information:
The L76/59 "Cheetah" is a 76mm Medium Weight Naval Gun designed for use on ships as small as Offshore Patrol Vessels and larger Fast Attack Craft, whilst also being a useful secondary armament to larger vessels. The name "Cheetah" comes from its heavy hitting rounds and high fire rate, which will maul down any foe it is used against.

The gun and associated control system include 3 fire modes, Single Shot, Burst Shot (3 Rounds), and Automatic (150rd/Min) allowing you to have the widest range of engagement options for any situation you encounter. The Turret itself has 4 access points, 1 on either side allowing direct access to that side's respective ammunition drum, a hatch at the rear allowing access to the housing, and a hatch in the bottom which can be used for transporting shells from a magazine below the mount.

Currently the gun is only manually aimed, however, It will be shortly given both Radar Guidance and GPS Guidance once I have figured out the ballistic characteristics of the shells.

How to Use:
  1. Whilst in the building editor, use the Select Tool on the gun Microcontroller if you wish to un-invert the gun's pitch axis.
  2. Turn on Monitor Power
  3. Turn on Turret Power
  4. Aim (Keys not Mouse)
  5. Engage Master Arm
  6. Fire using one of the fire mode flip switches or push button (You will need to load the first shot, recommended you use the single shot button to do this.)
  7. If you want to increase the stability of the gun whilst pointing at targets, press the Enable Turret Stabilisation Switch, which will allow the gun to adjust to some degree for waves and changes in direction (to a degree).

Features:
  • Cameras on both the Turret and Barrel.
  • A working Gun this time with 80 Rounds of High Explosive Ammo.
  • Single Shot, 3-Shot Salvo, and Automatic Fire Modes.
  • Infrared Cameras.
  • Maintenance Hatch.
  • Ammunition Supply Hatch below, if mounted on a ship.
  • Control Station.
  • Simple Turret 2-Axis Stabilisation

Dimensions:
Turret incl. Barrel:
  • Length: 6.25m
  • Width: 2.75m
  • Height: 3.00m (525m with Aerial)

Control Station:
  • Length: 1.50m
  • Width: 1.25m
  • Height: 2.00m

Note: Height Dimensions include 0.50m of base weight blocks which can be moved.

Moving onto a Vessel:
- Use Selection tool
- Make sure not to delete the Turret Micro-controller on the bottom of the weight block, move it to somewhere on your ship.

the turrent is slowly drooping down. the pitch velocity pivot has 0 input but still slowly makes the gun droop down.

Im trying to get it to rotate more than 180 degrees. But i cant find what i need to change in the microcontroller. also why would you limit it in this way in the first place?
Other than that its awesome thanks. And if you could help me with this even though im very late to the party that would be amazing.

those plans got ditched very quickly as a result of advancements within Newquay vehicles that have made this weapon otherwise obsolete, it remains as it is simple to operate, whilst those features would require external systems for aiming (JTAC-ADV on NQ assets)
