Welcome to the Type XXXI Elektroboot Weaponized Edition.
This is a Fast Attack submarine clocking at 100 km/h while submerged, is equipped with 10 Sonar Guided Explosive Torpedoes, a Deck Gun, two Auto-Cannons, and can fire a Nuclear Tipped Cruise Missile with a Large Warhead as the cherry on top. Combine these with its practically unlimited range and you've got quite a lethal machine.

You may need to use low physics detail if your computer isn't very fast.
You will need to surface to empty your ballasts.
This is a purely fictitious submarine inspired mainly by the type XXI Elektroboot.

Read below for usage instructions and specifications.

Torpedo Usage
-----------------------------------------

Simply press 1 in the torpedo seat to fire a torpedo. Fire within 1 kilometer of the target vessel to have the best chance of successfully locking on. Recommended torpedo depth setting is -3 for a small vessel, and -5 for medium to large vessels.

Torpedoes will work up to 4 kilometers but will lose radio contact with the submarine beyond that. Video feed will still go through until 20 kilometers.

To modify what depth you want them to cruise at just use the keypad placed right below the monitor.

After every second torpedo the tubes with be reloaded.

Whilst it is rare, should the Autoloader ever become stuck in the "Reloading..." state, try surfacing the vessel if submerged to fix it.



Deck Gun Usage
-----------------------------------------
Turn key located near breech to unlock gun from deck. I advise you to re-lock the gun after you are finished using it.

Ammunition is located inside of the door placed onto the floor of the deck.
Turn the key behind this door in order to feed ammunition down the belt for usage.

Pick a shell out of the belt and place it into the breech.

Press the button to the left of the breech to load the shell.

Go to the handle on the right hand side of the gun for controls.

Space - Fire
W/S - Pitch barrel Up/Down
A/D - Rotate gun Left/Right
Up/Down Arrow - Zoom In/Out

Zooming in will decrease Rotation and Pitch speeds for more precise aiming.



Auto-Cannon Usage

Locate Auto-Cannon seat on bridge and sit in it. It is the furthest seat to the immediate left.

When ammo is depleted the Auto-Cannon will automatically reload. It can reload a total of 5 times.

1 - Fast Traverse Mode
2 - Toggle between rear and front Turret
Space - Fire
W/S - Pitch barrel Up/Down
A/D - Rotate turret Left/Right
Up/Down Arrow - Zoom In/Out

Zooming in will decrease Rotation and Pitch speeds for more precise aiming.



Missile Usage
-----------------------------------------

Achtung: Missile will work, but will not be accurate in high wind conditions. Be at least 6 km away from target before firing.

First Enter Target Coordinates into large keypad, then enter the launch code into the small keypad. The code is 69.
Turn the key after doing these steps and then press the unlocked button to fire. If you are hitting a vehicle, make sure the Way-point is placed directly on top of the vehicle, as the 'large' warheads damage radius is small.

A live video feed from the missile with be transmitted back to the submarine until it has traveled 20 kilometers away. Basic data such as Airspeed, fuel, and distance from target will be transmitted until 30 kilometers, after which it will continue to fly to its target and strike it. The missile can be aborted assuming it has radio connection to the sub.

The missile can fire from below the surface of the water and has been tested at down to 200 meters deep.

Unfortunately due to how the game renders physics, a player will have to actively be at the target site for the missile to physically interact with the ground. If there is not a player present at the time of impact then the missile with phase through the floor. If the missile hits a vehicle target it will render physics without a player present, to my knowledge.

В общем, я пытался разобраться, почему в подводной лодке умираешь от давления. Я соорудил поставку кислорода внутрь, и выяснилось, что где-то на лодке происходит утечка, а точнее выкачивание воздуха. Полагаю что отверстия для откачки воды тому причина. Необходимо ограничить их способность выкачивать постоянно, на то, что-бы те выкачивали только при попадании жидкости на датчик.

Так-же, подлодку затапливает, из-за постоянно открытого люка спасательной капсулы, где происходит разгерметизация.

I can't get the ballasts to work, The screen for the operator just won't turn on. How do i turn on the ballast screen?
