The purpose of this guide is to help new players to pick a character for the first time, depending on their playstyle

- Updated guide (2025): It is more compact now and I also added combo videos for each character
- Sargon, Tukaram and Zoe videos has low resolution images. Naglfar video has HD images (newer)

🛡️ Sargon the Knight (Balanced)
The knight is the most used character among the players. Its balanced stats make of him a reliable choice. Recommended for players who think that a good defense is the best offense

🟢 "Jack of all trades" character
🟢 Defensive character
🟢 Has the best defense stat
🟢 Can use shields effectively
🟢 Three armor upgrades
🟢 A lot of abilities
🟢 Good combos
🟢 Good hit points
🔴 Close range weapons
⚪ Slow firing rate with the bow, but accurate
⚪ A few blunt weapons

🗡️ Tukaram the Barbarian (Damage)
The barbarian is pure brutality. His low defense is compensated with high damage. But all has a price: the combos expose him to an easy opening. Recommended for patient players only




🟢 High Damage
🟢 Medium / long ranged melee weapons
🟢 Can parry effectively (better with swords)
🟢 Fast jump (running + weapon on the back)
🟢 A lot of abilities
🟢 Decent hit points
🟢 Fast firing rate with the bow
🔴 Only has one blunt weapon
🔴 One armor upgrade
⚪ Slow but powerful combos / abilities

⚡ Zoe the Amazon (Speed)
The amazon is the fastest character. Her low defense is compensated with dodges and speed. A good choice for players who wants the job done quick without getting hit to much

🟢 Very agile character with a fast and evasive dodge
🟢 Whirlwind ability is really good and it unlocks early
🟢 Medium / long ranged melee weapons
🟢 Decent combos
🟢 Very fast firing rate with the bow
🔴 Less hit points than the rest of the characters
🔴 One armor upgrade
🔴 A few abilities (actually two)
⚪ A few blunt weapons
⚪ Her dodges can make you fall of ledges

💪 Naglfar the Dwarf (Tank)
The dwarf is a bulky character and it has slightly better stats than the Knight but his weapons are buggy (I recommend using MightyDwarf or the Titanium mod to fix that. Both works)

🟢 Good defense and hit points
🟢 Defensive character
🟢 Can use shields effectively
🟢 A good variety of cutting and blunt weapons
🟢 His right / left basic attacks are fast
🟢 Fast firing rate with the bow
🔴 His attacks tend to miss a lot
🔴 Close range weapons
🔴 A few abilities
⚪ Two armor upgrades
⚪ Slow jump

I finally uploaded Naglfar combos. This was possible thanks to the Titanium mod, created by LeadHead. This mod fixes his horrible hitboxes. It's still in development but this beta helped me to create this video. Much appreaciated!

Some guy is working on a mod called Titanium mod that fixes all the game problems, broken hitboxes included. But it seems that the development of this mod is slow so we need to wait a little bit. I can't wait to try it out!

I thought it would be a good idea so I added the best weapon (combo) for each character. Need to play with the Dwarf *sigh* but if someone knows which weapon is the best for him let me know
