The Bell 47 is a single-rotor single-engine light helicopter developed by Arthur M. Young for the Bell Aircraft Corporation. The helicopter first flew in 1945, and was initially certified for civilian use in 1946. More then 5000 were produced and many are still in use today. This variant is the 47G, featuring a soap bubble canopy and twin saddle bag fuel tanks.
