Absolute Aerospace O-25 Petrel

The Absolute Aerospace O-25 Petrel is a small SAR seaplane intended for smaller missions that demand rapid response time without the need for excessively large equipment.


Startup/Takeoff Procedure:

1: flip the MASTER switch on the bottom left of the main instrument panel - the dials and electrical systems should turn on.

2: Run through the switches to the right of the MASTER switch and activate as needed.

3: once the area around the plane is clear, turn the key to the right of the overhead panel and leave it - the engines are now started.

4: use the arrow keys or the overhead throttle lever to advance the throttle (full for takeoff, as needed for taxi). Actively pitch the plane so it doesn't nose into the water

5: For takeoff, Pitch the nose upwards at a high angle until the plane breaks away from the water. Have a nice flight!


Other Notes:

Some systems function without the MASTER switch, such as flight control surfaces and the emergency transponder

The plane was weight tested to 150 Kg
