More Dogs (speed tweak)

Description
This is a simple run speed adjustment to all the new races of wolves and dogs added by the More Dogs mod.

It'd designed with real canine run speeds in mind. And is made to work with my "Canine's Speed" mod. IE They all run faster.. and maybe you might not be able to out run them on a normal set of legs. :3

This mod was causing some weird pathing issue for me in swamp - red sabre and a bonedog fighting about 10m apart

I do value the idea tho, so maybe I will tweak some of the HP and dmg numbers. But I still think the larger wolf species should be better than like the lil bonedog or bonemutt. But mutts should be better than dogs. Perhaps dune dogs are lighter, and bone dogs are heavier, but mutts are the best of both then have. Bone jackals are rediculous with this version of the mod, I have to admit.

SoonTM, Ive an animal overhaul that will sort of address your issue with an immersive way. These mods were me learning FCS and having fun but now Im doing something bigger.

I found tame beasties style getting animals was too easy, also I really wanted to make the animals more wild, but simple ways caused many issues so I have to do it the long way. It should be an all inclusive animal mod overhaul thing that requires the good animal mods and also adds extra compatibility between some of them. But you wont be able to buy wolves any more, only dogs, and you will have to tame wolves with a progressive convo.

It could be cool to have a version that flips it, and makes dogs faster at the cost of their lower HP. Right now, this mod (and more dogs in general) makes it hard to justify using the lower hp species of dogs, because wolves are so much better by comparison with their higher HP bars/run speed. I use wolves myself, so I like having them run faster anyway lol.

But my direction is more about my arbitrary sense of "realism" within the context of my interpretation of the Kenshi fantasy. None of my mods have "balance" in mind other than I try and make them fun. I personally find convenience in games to sometimes kill fun, and you will notice most of my changes in any mod I have made tends to make things a little more inconvenient. IE, more dangerous, more expensive. But ultimately more "Immersive" for me.

Basicly I saw it as dogs would be slower and less vicious whilst wolves and jackals would be more wild and also faster. I've also got an unreleased version that makes certain species, IE wild species like Wolves and Jackals eat unconscious NPCs and smell blood. I am still testing though because you can get weird side effects from it. IE: When I had all them also eat NPCs in cages, nomad caravans with wolves would devour the slaves in slave camps. So i removed that function.

It is very easy to adjust their speeds though, just download the mod. Copy the mod file from your steam subscribed mods file, place it into Kenshi mod file, unsubscribe from my mod. Open it in FCS. Click the button that allows you to see the changes this mod makes, and then you can alter those changes to your liking.

Ah, I didnt not make different speeds on hit points, but on my arbitrary fantasy on what I thought different breeds would be.

I would like to know their speeds individualy. Every "breed" of dogs must have diferent speeds depending on their size. For ex: If that dog is a monster with 250 hit points it should run slower then the 100 and something hp dogs.
