Ah yes, The glourious British bomber re-worked in all it's glory.
The Avro Lancaster service and production started in october of 1941. It conducted bombing raids over Nazi-Europe in the start of 1942 to destroy the german war industry and to pummel civilian morale by bombing germany's big cities.
The lancaster was quick for a four engined aircraft around 300-400 kph tops. It was the main Bomber for the Royal Bomber Command (RBC/RAF) due to it's massive payload, it could carry up to 10,000 lbs of a bomb (Grand Slam) but it had be a night raider bomber as it had no protection for the crew.
Its Service Ended around 1947.
