In The Fog

A rookie tank crew lost in the enemy territory. Come back home. Or go on a rampage with a tank. It's up to you what you want to do here. Drive your tank through the enemy territory, come back home and experience many weird adventures on the way. Featuring:
- Different armored vehicles for you to drive (you start with a tank, others can be found all around the map).
- Weird occurrences on the night of the full moon (If you're willing to take a detour and visit mysterious places).
- Lots of enemies to blow up.
- Side quests.

Extra vehicles can sometimes be found in the locations marked on the map and sometimes in enemy bases. You are allowed to drive only armored vehicles (and some support trucks), light/civilian vehicles are off limits. Also, although no DLC is needed, Tanks DLC is recommended, since it will grant you access to some extra stuff, like the Rhino tank or Angara tank. Don't forget to save often. If you're playing this on veteran level and have only one savegame, you can find some game saving pills. Also, I tried to disable GPS, but I couldn't remove that crosshair on the map, which shows your position on the map. Although that's not entirely fair, but I think it's for the better.

Some tips for you:
1) You can repair your tanks with a toolkit, but first you will need to find one.
2) You can sometimes find extra vehicles in locations marked with question marks. Or you can sometimes find good loot there. Make sure you check every corner, some loot might be hidden.
3) Don't forget that your vehicle has some cargo space, in case you need to transport some extra loot.
4) There are no civilians in this mission (except for a few NPC's), so if you see some vehicle lights in the fog, don't hesitate to shoot.
5) If somebody locks on to you with a missile, you've got countermeasures in your tank. But you have to be in commander's seat to use them.
6) Although your GPS is disabled in the beginning, there is a way to get it back, together with some artillery support.
7) Your initial tank, the T-100 Varsuk, is lightly armored, but is very fast. Maybe you can use that to your advantage? Or if you don't like that, there are some more powerful tanks to be found.
8) The fog is slowly clearing out. If you want to stay hidden, move fast.
9) The artillery unit has a few shells that are laser-guided. If you find a laser designator, you can put this to good use. However, you must designate the target from the direction, from which the artillery is firing, so that the shells can see the laser marker.
10) Beware of black magic!
