This is my 1:1 representation of the Douglas A1 Skyraider

Please do not re-upload. If you use any part of the creation on your own upload please credit me as I have done for those who's work I have used. Thank you and enjoy.

The easiest way to learn the systems of the Skyraider is to watch the tutorial videos.

Operation instructions:


Panel Power and engine start procedure-

1.Turn on the master power on the main panel
2.Throttle should be at idle .13
3. Prop should be set to 0. This will allow the engine to start faster
4. Below that toggle the "start/stop" button.
5. The starter will disengage at 210 RPM


Taxing-

1. On the main panel close the canopy
2. main panel release the brakes (orange light should go out).
3. Advance the thrust lever with the 1 key on the seat. 2 will decrease the thrust
4. steer with the <> left and right arrow keys
5. Use the down arrow key to apply brakes.

Take off-

1. Set flaps to 0
2. Advance the thrust lever to .35 (1 key)
3. maintain center line with tail wheel steering.
4. At about 40 knots the tail will rise. Press and hold S while increasing the power to full (1)
5. Aircraft should lift off between 80-100 knots
6. Raise landing gear
7. Raise flaps


Weapon system operation-

1. Turn on the "master arm" starboard weapons panel
2. Select the desired weapon or station
3. press the space bar to (fire,drop. or jettison)

Rockets.
1. rocket pods must be installed on stations 5
2. Select the rockets button on the starboard weapons panel
3. press space to fire. 1 rocket will fire per pod per press.

Guns.
1. Master arm on
2. Select the guns button
3. Press the space bar

Landing-

1. Lower gear
2. lower flaps to 100%
3. slow to between 95-100 knots
4. Stall will begin below 90 knots
5. As you cross the runway threshold gently flare and reduce thrust with the (2 key)
6. lower thrust and apply brake with the down arrow
7. steer with the <> arrow keys.

Shutdown-

1. toggle the start/stop button
2. turn off master power.


Weapons-

The hard points are numbered 1-5 on the port and starboard wings. 1 being most outboard and 5 being most inboard.

Stations 1-4 Can accommodate bombs.
Stations 5 can also accommodate Rockets. Rockets will only fire from stations 5.
The Center Station can also accommodate a fuel pod. Fuel will only display and drain from the center station.


Fuel-

Refueling is accomplished at the rear port wing root
When fuel is below <50 Gallons in the main tank the red light on the main panel will flash.

Great work. You could even fit two drums next to each other and add them directly next to the guns. And if you paint them, they don't stick out as much. ;)

The guns are now connected to ammo. I figured out how to hide them. Enjoy

Yeah, I saw that when I played around with them. But tbf I don't mind the drums showing on the wings. I'd rather have working guns :)

The guns don't work. You need an ammo reserve and a feeder for both guns.

Not on this plane taggy. With it's vintage I think keypads would be out of place. I will consider it.

If u want is it possible to ad a alt hold? if you can't it is fine.
