ABOUT:

Enhanced UI Project: Camera Expansion is an also standalone working addon to the Enhanced UI Project.
It is inspired by Avelium's amazing Cinematic Camera.
Some improvements were made tho, as it is now possible to turn the camera up and down in an angle of +/- 90° meaning room of 180°. And not further, which means that you won't get that weird flicker that happens if you go beyond 90° in either direction. On the contrary the standard system rotations will show the system from the side, which is rather unpractical although looking quite nice when using Enhanced UI Project: Arrows and Orbits.
Finally this mod also increases the zoom and rotation freedom in galaxy view. the rotation is more limited here, as the game takes the middle between min and max rotation as standard and you would always see the galaxy from the side when leaving the system-view. Therefore the max angle is +90° to 0°.



















Vanilla files overwritten:
  • \common\defines\00_defines.txt (not fully overwritten)







  • Standard system rotation shows the system at 0° therefore from the side, it is a trade between rotational freedom, issues on high rotation values and the standard angle.

You can indeed modify \common\defines\~~nanderty_enhanced_ui_camera_camera_defines.txt.
Its mostly self explaining.
you could also use a different camera mod that has even more zoom, the existence of such is unlikely tho, because there are some glitches that arise if the max zoom is set too high.

Thanks for answer，is there any way ,like modify a file? to increase the zoom in on ships ? I use downscaled ship mod that make things smaller, so I need a greater zoom in to see my ship up close:johncry:

You can zoom in further than in vanilla if that's what you mean.
Your best bet is probably to test it tho, as camera mods are mostly personal preference.

What do you mean with "greater magnification"?
If you mean system scale, then probably yes, only tested it with 2x tho.
