You can indeed modify \common\defines\~~nanderty_enhanced_ui_camera_camera_defines.txt.
Its mostly self explaining.
you could also use a different camera mod that has even more zoom, the existence of such is unlikely tho, because there are some glitches that arise if the max zoom is set too high.
You can zoom in further than in vanilla if that's what you mean.
Your best bet is probably to test it tho, as camera mods are mostly personal preference.
What do you mean with "greater magnification"?
If you mean system scale, then probably yes, only tested it with 2x tho.
