The Captain's Cabin: Retrieve the Chalice of Souls

Description
A valuable treasure has been plundered from the deep sea by pirates. Something that should have remained berried. Stowing away aboard their vessel you manage to sneak into the captain's cabin but can you retrieve the artefact and escape before the crew return?

I hope you enjoy it! Wanted to go for a more narrative driven puzzle room and quite pleased with how it turned out!

Thanks to @Ich, @biosomniac, @Azolla, @Aurora and @red. on discord as well as commenters on steam for feedback!

Guide:
Each note you find in the captain’s cabin leads contains the hint to the next note. Here are some further hints if you need them, along with the solution.
Day 503:
1 -  Look on the barrels in the corner of the room.
2 -  The captain mentions Darktide rocks.
3 -  Darktide also appear on the map on the map table.
Solution -  Place the boat found on the barrels in the corner to the spot on the map 2 squares south of Darktide Rocks.
Day 506:
1 -  The details about the execution seem important.
2 -  All the execution details seem related to a head.
3 -  There’s a skull on the captain’s desk, and a locked chest on the shelves.
Solution -  Enter the code from the skull into the padlock on the chest. It’s 427
Day 509:
1 -  The captain mentions a specific time.
2 -  There’s a symbol on the bottom of the clock on the shelf.
3 -  Does the same symbol appear anywhere else in the room?
Solution -  Set the clock to 12:45, and place it on the cabinet on the desk with the matching symbol.
Day 513:
1 -  The captain says: “and all the terrible days it’s evil has bared upon me combined will secure others from falling to it’s temptation.”
2 -  You know what days he has mentioned the chalice.
3 -  How could you combine together the days?
Solution -  Add up all the day values from each of the notes, and put the result: 2031 into the large chest in the corner.
Ending:
1 - You’ve found what you came for, but should you really take it back with you?
2 - Your suitcase is waiting by the door… or…
3 - Perhaps this thing would be better lost in the sea.

Great room! This one too has gotten the update treatment so the numbers are not visible on the skull, look at the walkthrough to get past this step :)

Excellent room. (Except the last puzzle to find the 4-digit code.)
But excellent room anywhere.
Thank you QuackTeamJames.

@KaKiiE Thanks for your feedback! However, the implied narrative is that the chalice was part of the 'loot' described in that first note, hence why it's included even though it's not mentioned.
Thanks once again~

Great map and enjoyed the captains logs, just a sidenote
The chest code wouldn't be the 2031 as they only found the chalice on day 506 so it would only be 14
Really enjoyed the map though !

Simple, but clever. I really liked how your captain's note clues fit with the theme. The two different endings was a great idea too. Thanks for sharing!

Great room! love that everything makes sense :-)
Quick note, put obstacles on the windows, to avoid throwing things over board :-D Trust me, I did think that was the end of the room LOL. Cheers for a fun room!

@sdbpost there are two triggers for the ending, mainly because people tried the alternative which I'd never considered, so figured I should at least add it as a trigger, it's not really recognised in any other way.
