Doom Eternal - Classic '64 Doomguy [PM]

Description
"Your commission is re-activated, and your assignment is clear: MERCILESS EXTERMINATION."

This is a playermodel of one of the Doom Slayer's classic skins from Doom Eternal, designed after Doomguy's appearance in Doom 64. As with the previous addons, this was a model that I had commissioned to be rigged and subsequently uploaded for archival reasons. Since I don't actually know much about maintaining models myself, there likely won't be any further updates to fix whatever bugs or imperfections might be present.

Speaking of which; the only notable issue I've encountered is that the forearms and fingers are not perfectly rigged, and will suffer some flexibility and clipping issues when in use. The hands are especially meaty when viewed in first person, and will likely obfuscate whatever's being held to some extent.

Beyond that, this addon includes functioning c_hands, and some alternative skins that can make the helmet's visor transparent, various bits on the armor glow, or both at the same time.

Credits:
  • LordCthulhu814 for rigging the model into a playermodel. He was able to get this pushed out before a certain deadline; and for that, I'm quite grateful. Like I said before: if you want good stuff done quick, I whole-heartedly recommend checkin' him out.

  • Stefano for porting the model from Doom Eternal. This model specifically comes from this addon that they published very recently.

  • Midway Software, Bethesda Softworks and ID Software for developing Doom 64 and Doom Eternal, respectively.

  • ID Software for creating the Doom franchise. You guys rock.

@XENNOLIX
i don't port or rig anything, this is merely me reuploading a commissioned playermodel

i *think* i remember seeing a couple playermodels of the Quake Champions' doomdude floating around the workshop, but i'm not 100% sure. if not, then you could try looking for a rigged playermodel of the Classic Doomguy from DOOM ETERNAL: nearly the same model, with some minor tweaks

if you dont mind can you port quake champions- doom guy by auditor?

oooh, that makes sense now that you say that

@Bishou
maybe, though it's nothing to worry about. if i remember correctly, an addon needs to hit a threshold of about 30-40 ratings before it's given those green stars

either way, looks good ^v^

i always get anxious when i see addons like this but they have zero ratings, idk why. maybe i just get paranoid too easily, idk

@The Doom Master / YoshiGa
those're nice ideas, but i don't intend on updating the addon unless something game-breaking pops up. it's less of an actively maintained addon, and more like something i tossed into the public to archive for later use. i don't mind at all if people reupload improved/customized versions of this playermodel, too

May I suggest a colorable version of this?

Hi, if you're still looking to fix the problem for the pauldrons, I figured out that you can get them looking the same if you just lower the brightness of the base texture in like photoshop or something until they match and that seem to do the trick.
I'm pretty sure the actual game does this internally too, so not sure why exactly but there's probably some technical explanation out there

much appreciated @Buffcyki; only issue i personally have with it is that the pauldrons are (for some reason) much brighter than the rest of the armor, and that the visor is super blue. shouldn't be too hard to fix for themselves, though

probably not @AngrySpaceGuy, mostly 'cause these addons are playermodels that I use for PAC; i just upload 'em here since i know some people might want to use them as well. i don't have the need for a Ranger playermodel right now, but i'd recommend LordCthulhu814 if you want one made quick and cheap
