This is my 1:1 representation of the Damen Ta800 Tanker

The easiest way to learn the systems of the Damen Ta800 Tanker is to watch the tutorial videos.


Operation instructions:


Head down to the engine room. Door at the stern of the ship

1. Head into the door to the right a t the bottom of the stairs
2. Look at the engineering panel
3. Turn on both battery banks
4. Turn on both battery recharge buttons
5. Turn the key switch and press the master power button




Head Up to the Bridge

1. Press both engine Start stop switches. Engines will come on and auto restart.
2. Right pedistal. Turn on the anchor lights "1". Or Nav "2" If you are ready to be underway
3. To the left of the panel are the clutch controls (the engines auto throttle)
4. If you wish to "sync" the thrust press sync. This allows both clutches to be controlled by the port thrust control.
5. Zero will set the clutches to "0"




Generator

-Generator is automated. It will auto start/stop and will auto throttle to maintain battery.



Autopilot:

- I recommend watching the operations tutorial video up top to operate the screens and AP



Seat:

-Rudder steering is A/D on the main seat. The rudder is sticky and the position is indicated by the dial on the main pane.

Bow thruster:

Main panel bottom right. LT/RT arrows command the thrusters to port or starboard. Center shuts off the thrusters. The gauge show the direction and power.



Anchor:

-port pedestal. Up arrow raise anchors. DN lowers. On turns on the attach feature



Water Ballast:
- ballast is automated. The panel is on the back wall of the bridge in blue. It is automatic. It will auto fill and empty as well as auto balance. The keypad allows you to dictate how much above or below the water you want to go. "0" is on water line



Oil:

-Oil can be filled and emptied from 2 positions. The deck position is where you connect the 3 hoses. Click the toggle on the deck control panel. Turn on the associated pump for the tank(s) you wish to fill. Click the corresponding button to dictate pump in or out. There is an Identical panel on the bridge. Deselect the toggle on the deck refueling station. Only one station can be operated at a time. Then select the toggle on the bridge.

Fuel:

Ship fuel is >47000 liters. It can be filled from the sliding hatch in front of the no smoking sign.
