Service Vehicle mk V

Description
This is a remote controlled service module for small, hydrogen fueled craft and is a necessary companion for many Grey Hangar ships.

IMPORTANT:
Make sure not to press the YELLOW button until the unit is over a connector block or it will shut down.

YELLOW- Egage connector
(Service Vehicle battery will charge, tanks will stockpile, and antenna will turn off)

GREEN- Disengage connector
(Systems brought on line, Service Vehicle ready for use)

RED- Withdraw
(Service Vehicle will disconnect, raise the Boom Arm, and move clear of the receiving ship)

HOW TO USE:
(don't be intimidated; it nearly takes care of itself)

Before servicing, the receiving ship's batteries and tanks should be set to recharge and stockpile, respectively.

If the Service Vehicle is on a connector block, press the GREEN button to release it.

Take control remotely to move the Service Vehicle to the ship and make the connection.

1) Boom Camera View
2) Lower Boom Arm
3) Raise Boom Arm
4) Extend Boom Arm
5) Retract Boom Arm
6) Connect

As you approach, the camera should be centered on the block immediately above the connection point. When the hinge parts align, make the connection (6). (It helps to position your character where you can see the connection point when you leave the camera view)

NOTE:
Craft with deep or angled interfaces may require some fiddling around to get the hinge parts close enough to join (as is the case for the Colonial Viper).

If everything was set up correctly, the receiving ship should immediately begin drawing power, hydrogen, and oxygen. There is no need to tend the system; you may do other things while it works.

When you are ready to disconnect, press the RED button. The Service Vehicle will disconnect, raise the Boom Arm, and move clear of the ship.

To reset the Service Vehicle for later use, take control remotely and move it over a connector block. When the Service Vehicle engages the connector, press the YELLOW button. The Service Vehicle will lock onto the connector, the antenna will turn off, the Battery will charge, and the hydrogen and oxygen tanks will fill.
