Grand Theft Auto III - 20th Anniversary Pack

Description
Happy Anniversary, Grand Theft Auto III! I'm a little late, but oh well.

In lieu of the truly terrible Definitive Edition models, what I present to you today is a pack of direct, but high-quality (in my opinion) ports of several vehicles and characters from Grand Theft Auto III, as well as every weapon in the game.

Derived from the higher-poly, skeletal-rigged XBOX versions of the game's models, this pack features Claude, Catalina, a SWAT officer, and a Police Officer. And for vehicles, we have the PS2 version of the Kuruma, and the XBOX versions of the Police Chopper, Enforcer, Cabbie, Borgnine, and Police Car.

Catalina has face bones enabling a limited array of expressions, and all 4 characters feature their original rigging and bone setups. No IK rig or ValveBiped rename, because I hate myself.

Additionally, every car included has bones for almost every aspect, including the hood, trunk, wheels, car doors, windshields, fenders... you name it!

And as a bonus, the cars are recolorable, to an extent! Simply add material overrides, then add a $vector3 attribute to the car's body texture (in the case of the kuruma, it's kurumabody64, as an example). From there you can change the car's color via simple RGB vectors, with 0 being the lowest level of saturation for each RGB value, and 1 being the maximum -- though values above 1 will also work, but will produce oversaturated values!

The cars do NOT have deformation bodygroups yet for their damaged variants. Porting them was complicated as it was, so I'll be taking time before I consider doing that.

And as aforementioned, every weapon from the game is included! They're very low poly, but fit well with the characters as provided!

By the by, I'm aware the SWAT officer and Cop are lower-poly than Catalina and Claude -- that's just how they are. Them's the breaks, unfortunately.

If this pack goes down well I'll port more GTA3 and maybe even VC assets.

Thanks to The Hero at GTAForums for ripping the XBox characters, Avals343 for the Catalina skins, and Hyperchaotix for the custom cubemaps.

If someone else could make a gmod port that would be great

Sorry for the lack of the Misty/Miguel update yet, I burnt out working on a whole new addon that'll be up hopefully today.

It'll be soulmakin'.

I've ported Miguel and Misty and I'll push them to the content at some point. Maybe a car or two too (Mafia Sentinel and Taxi are my next two I'll probably do, maybe standard Sentinel too). If anyone has any character requests, now's the time to ask.

No, I can't be fucked to make the physics collisions because it's significantly more work than it's worth. You could probably copy+paste the models into GMod yourself and use the bone tool (probably with the physics-for-effects addon, idk effects can be bone tooled) to pose them.

If anyone wants to make phys models I'll gladly share sources provided I get creator attribution on-workshop.

No. I don't intend to do the San Andreas ones beyond Catalina and Claude, but I'll probably do some Vice City ones.
