I tried to play the tapes and it seemed like there was no sound playing, but it could have been due to the conflict I mentioned earlier.
In the original mod there is instructions to find an installer, and after fiddling with the installer you can add personal music to your personal installation of the mod (which I believe you might have used?) . Because of that installer, you can add new music on top of the original mod - though he has no way for people to easily add more songs onto that mod of his as of now.
Thank you very much for responding to me, I'll see if I can figure out anything else so I could hear your songs in my game!
Have you tried to play the tape? Though tapes have no durability, they can still be played perfectly.
The "GUI overlay" you mentioned, you are correct. Because this mod is the original tape mod only with some changes to music and picture, it's no surprise two mods will conflict with each other.
Unfortunately, I am no expert in coding. There is not much I could do about it. It's way beyond my capability, but I will try my best to fix it.
At this point, you need to choose between these two mods.
Everytime I try to load the game it says that there is no "gui overlay", could this be part of the issue?
I also have the original tapes mod placed above the gura tapes mod, could that be the issue instead?
